Activison seems to want you to buy additional portals. Very fan unfriendly if that all stays this way.
i think its unfair that in the portal pack you get more skylanders. do you know if the skylanders in that pack are going to be sold separably, or can you only get them in the starter pack?
I guess (and this is just guessing) they will also release them as seperate chracters. But what's the point? Pricewise it seems cheaper to buy the additional Portal. But still, I would bet on a release of them as singles as well. Otherwise, well that would be unfair times two.
